Your First Med Spa Visit in Laguna Niguel: What to Expect
Our Team
11/5/2026
Walking into a med spa for the first time can feel a little like your first day at a new gym. You are not totally sure what happens, who you will talk to, or whether you will be pressured into something. So here is exactly what a first visit looks like at Enclave Med Spa in Laguna Niguel, start to finish.
Before You Arrive
When you book, we will ask for a few basics and send intake forms to fill out ahead of time. They cover your health history, medications, allergies and any past aesthetic treatments. It sounds like paperwork for paperwork's sake, but it is how we keep treatments safe.
A few things worth knowing before a first injectable appointment:
- If you can, skip alcohol the night before and avoid blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen for a few days (unless a doctor has prescribed them; never stop a prescribed medication on your own).
- Come with a clean face or plan to remove makeup when you arrive.
- Bring a list of what bothers you. "I look tired" is a perfectly good starting point.
The Consultation
Your first appointment starts with a conversation, not a needle. One of our providers will sit down with you, look at your face or skin in good light, and ask what you want to change and what you want to keep. Then they will tell you what is realistic, what it costs, and what the downtime looks like.
Honest guidance is the point. Sometimes the answer is "you do not need that." Sometimes it is "a skin treatment will do more for you than an injectable." You will never be pushed into booking anything on the spot.
The Medical Evaluation
Before any prescription treatment, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport® or dermal filler, California requires a good faith exam. That is a quick medical review to confirm the treatment is safe for you. It is a normal part of the process at any reputable med spa.
Can I Get Treated the Same Day?
Often, yes. If you are a good candidate and you feel ready, many treatments like wrinkle relaxers and DiamondGlow™ facials can happen at the same visit. If you would rather go home and think it over, that is completely fine too.
After Your Treatment
We will walk you through aftercare before you leave and send it to you in writing. For wrinkle relaxers, we like to see first-time patients for a check-in around two weeks later, when results have fully settled. And if anything comes up in between, you can call us.
Grand Opening Offers for New Patients
To welcome our new Laguna Niguel neighbors, new patients can use a $100 welcome credit on services of $200 or more, get Dysport at $3.95 per unit (good faith exam required), or book a DiamondGlow facial for $149. Financing is available through Cherry, CareCredit and PatientFi.
