Dysport in Laguna Niguel: Cost, Results and What to Expect

Dysport® is one of the most popular ways to soften expression lines, and it is now available at Enclave Med Spa in Laguna Niguel. If you have been wondering how Dysport works, what it costs and what to expect at your first appointment, this guide covers the basics so you can walk into your consultation informed.
What Is Dysport?
Dysport (abobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved prescription neuromodulator. Like BOTOX® Cosmetic, it temporarily relaxes the muscles that create dynamic wrinkles, the lines that form when you frown, squint or raise your eyebrows. With those muscles at rest, the skin above them looks smoother and more refreshed.
Dysport is FDA-approved for moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (the "11s"). Your provider may also discuss other areas during your consultation, such as forehead lines and crow's feet.
How Many Units of Dysport Will I Need?
Dysport is dosed differently than BOTOX, so the unit counts are not one-to-one. A Dysport treatment typically uses more units than a BOTOX treatment of the same area. That is why comparing price per unit between brands can be misleading. The better question is what the full treatment for your areas will cost.
Your dose depends on several factors:
- The areas you want to treat
- Your muscle strength and how expressive your face is
- Your treatment history and goals (soft and natural vs. maximum smoothing)
Your nurse injector will map your face during the consultation and give you a unit estimate before anything is injected.
How Much Does Dysport Cost in Laguna Niguel?
Dysport is priced per unit, so your total depends on how many units your treatment requires. As part of our grand opening, new patients at Enclave Laguna Niguel can receive Dysport at $3.95 per unit (good faith exam required). Financing is also available through Cherry, CareCredit and PatientFi.
What Happens at Your First Dysport Appointment?
- Consultation and good faith exam. We review your goals, health history and any medications to confirm Dysport is a safe fit.
- Facial mapping. Your injector watches how your muscles move and marks the treatment points.
- Treatment. A series of small injections with a very fine needle. Most appointments take about 15 to 30 minutes.
- Aftercare. You can usually return to work right away. We will give you aftercare instructions before you leave.
When Will I See Results, and How Long Do They Last?
Many patients begin to notice softening within a few days, with full results developing over about two weeks. Results commonly last around three to four months, though this varies from person to person. Many patients schedule maintenance visits to keep lines soft year-round.
Dysport Aftercare Tips
- Stay upright for about four hours after treatment.
- Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated areas for the rest of the day.
- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas and hot yoga for 24 hours.
- Call us if you have questions or notice anything unexpected.
Is Dysport Right for Me?
Dysport is a good option for many adults who want smoother expression lines without surgery or downtime. It is not appropriate for everyone. For example, it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with certain neuromuscular conditions. That is why every treatment at Enclave starts with a medical evaluation.
